Winter Is Here: Werribee Takes On the Big Freeze Ice Bucket Challenge

Winter arrived in spectacular fashion at Werribee Football Club as CEO Mark Penaluna, Kyle Hartigan, Rani Pavlidis and 1992 Best and Fairest winner Michael McMaster stepped up to take on the Ice Bucket Challenge in support of FightMND.

With Big Freeze 12 bringing communities across Australia together, the challenge served as a fun and powerful reminder of the ongoing fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND). While the icy water delivered plenty of laughs, the message behind the challenge remained an important one.

FightMND continues to raise awareness and fund vital research in the search for effective treatments and ultimately a cure for MND. Events like the Big Freeze have become a significant part of Australia's sporting landscape, inspiring clubs, communities and individuals to get involved and support the cause.

MT Visuals was proud to capture the challenge and help share the club's support for FightMND. From the anticipation before the bucket was tipped to the reactions that followed, it was a great example of a community coming together for something bigger than football.

A big congratulations to everyone who took part and helped keep the conversation around FightMND moving forward.
